I have both the Travelpak Lite and the Softie Expedition (both are great by the way). I'm curious if there is a "proper" way to compress the Expedition to achieve optimal compression. I have yet to achieve the 26x26cm size that is described. Perhaps it's as simple as not folding the bag properly?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Yes, I would be interested in this too - I have the Travelpak Lite, the claimed compressed size is 16x16cm (I bought it mainly because of this spec, for minimalist cycle touring). The smallest I can get is 24x16cm, but in achieving this, the plastic buckles have deformed and no longer work properly.

Did you folks ever get an answer to your questions. I have a Special Forces 1, and according to spec, it is to pack size 28cm x 14cm. I would love to know hoe to get this bag rolled down to this size.

I emailed Snugpak and they were extremely helpful; they said:
"The sizes quoted have actually been achieved in the factory but we are probably better at it with practice than our customers. The easiest way is to kneel on the bag with as much weight as possible and then pull the straps in rotation. Eventually you should get within 10% of the pack size quoted. "
They also sent me some stuff sacks (foc) from a different model that had stronger buckles. Fantastic company!

This is more or less correct, cheers for helping the others out. We have been extremely busy these past few weeks, we are looking at making a "how to video" to further explain this.
We will post this up once it has been finished, most likely in the newly created F.A.Q section on the forum.
