A leading sleeping bag and outdoor clothing manufacturer has donated more than 80 sleeping bags to help homeless drug addicts in Bradford stay warm at night.
The generous gesture from SnugPak, of Howden Road, Silsden, comes on top of a Christmas gift of more than 100 jackets the company gave to The Bridge Project, a Bradford-based drug treatment charity.
Snugpak chief executive Mick Dobson and sales director Darren Burrell visited the project in Salem Street, Bradford, to hand over the sleeping bags, take a look at the facilities on offer and chat to clients.
Mr Dobson said: "There aren't many families that have not been touched by the issue of drugs and this is a very worthy cause.
"We were very impressed with the facilities. We looked at the gym and spoke to people who just lived for their visits there.
"It really is fantastic."
