Snugpak, the leading UK sleeping bag manufacturer has appointed Mark Pillinger as its sales account manager. Mark started as Sales Office Manager at international textile manufacturer Bulmber & Lumb in Bradford and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience from this industry. Mark will be responsible for Snugpak’s account management, customer service and opening of new accounts.
Mark was attracted to the role with Snugpak because of his background in fabric technology. A keen outdoor enthusiast, Mark enjoys hiking, scrambling, camping, climbing, skiing and photography.
Snugpak’s joint Managing Directors, Mick Dobson and Susan Parrish said: “We are delighted that Mark has joined the team, his many years of experience will help us provide excellent customer service.”
On his new role, Mark comments: “Snugpak is in an industry that holds a great deal of interest for me. Throughout my life I have developed a passion for outdoor clothing and equipment. This also fits with the strong background in technical textiles I have developed throughout my career and studies. I now get to combine both of these in an industry I find fascinating.”
