Placing Orders and Paying Online

Snugpak uses the Shopatron shopping service to process orders placed at Snugpak.com. Shopatron processes your orders and passes them to selected Snugpak fulfilment partners who will then ship your order to you. When you order and pay online, our intelligent system starts working to ensure rapid delivery. Shopatron currently accepts payment by Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

When paying for your order, please complete the onscreen instructions. We cannot accept credit card numbers delivered by email.

Placing an Order, Returns FAQ

VAT

VAT will be applied to your order at the standard UK rate of 20%. You will see the VAT amount included in the product prices as you navigate through the site. However VAT will be shown separately when you checkout with your order.

Telephone, Post, Fax or Email Orders

Please place your orders via Snugpak.com. Telephone, post, fax, and email orders cannot be accepted.

If you have trouble viewing the website

If you’re unable to use our convenient online shopping catalogue, you may be using an outdated browser. To view content and place orders on our website, we recommend that you use the most recent version of Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, Opera, Firefox, or Safari.

Preferred Shipping Method

To get your order to you as quickly as possible, we may need to split it into multiple shipments. As you check out, you can select whether or not you would like us to split your order. A nominal additional shipping fee is applied to a split package.

If you’d like your order to be shipped together, please select ’Single Package’ when checking out. Otherwise we will split your order into two or more packages if that is the fastest way to get your order to you.

Shipping and Handling Charges

We currently only ship within the United Kingdom and Eire. The standard delivery charge is £3.95 per UK shipment and £7.95 per shipment to Eire.

In the unlikely event that shipping charges are higher than this, you will be notified by email before the charges are made to your credit card.

Pre-order Availability Dates

Availability dates, where stated, are as accurate and up to date as possible and we constantly monitor these to ensure the latest information is shown on our website. However, the dates that our products are expected to arrive at our distribution centres can occasionally change, due to circumstances beyond our control. As such, on very rare occasions, the pre-order availability date shown on our website may change or be temporarily out of date.

Tracking your order.

When your order is despatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation and tracking number(s) via email. Once your shipment(s) has been scanned by the shipping provider at the local hub, you can use the tracking number provided in your shipping confirmation to track its progress.

Shipping Problems

While not common, shipping problems can occur. If you have a problem with your order that is related to shipping, please contact the fulfilment partner detailed in your shipping confirmation email.

If your order arrives damaged, please do not open the box or remove any of the packaging materials. A Sales and Customer Service Representative with Callaway Golf or one of our fulfilment partners will process a damage claim with the shipping provider, arrange for the damaged merchandise to be returned and give you further advice on when you will receive a replacement.

When will my order be despatched?

Orders are shipped Monday to Friday, with the exception of public holidays. All in-stock orders will be shipped within 4-5 business days following credit card authorisation.

Please note that, at this time, no order may be shipped outside of the United Kingdom and Eire.

Depending on the shipping service provider for your order, a package may be left without a signature, at their discretion.

Receiving your order

Orders will typically arrive within 3-5 business days (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays) following receipt of delivery confirmation email. The scheduled delivery date will be outlined within your shipment confirmation email.

Shipping and Delivery FAQ

Returns, Refunds and Warranty

All Snugpak items come with a 12 month warranty which runs from the date of purchase. If you believe that your Snugpak product is a warranty claim, you must first contact the Retailer from whom you made the original purchase as they will have a returns procedure set up to provide a hassle free service.

We work closely with our Retail Partners and Stockists to handle all warranty claims promptly. Should the retailer decide that your product needs to be returned to us for inspection they will advise you how this can be done, ensuring all of the necessary information is included and that a returns number is provided.

Exceptions

For clarification, the following damage would not be covered by your warranty:

Sleeping Bags

  • General wear and tear over extended use
  • Flaws in the fabric caused by excessive wear
  • Broken zips caused by forcing, jamming or improper use
  • Over stretched seams coming apart
  • Buckles subjected to undue force or abrasion
  • Draw cord pulled out with excessive force
  • Broken stuff bag due to undue force
  • Reduced loft of filling
  • Commercial use by rental companies

Rucksacks

  • General wear and tear over extended use
  • Flaws in the fabric caused by excessive wear
  • Water ingress through seams (rucksack seams are not taped, a rucksack liner or cover should be used)
  • Broken zips caused by forcing, jamming or improper use
  • Overloaded, tensioned or stretched seams coming apart
  • Buckles subjected to undue force or abrasion
  • UV degradation
  • Frame exposed through fabric through being dragged or dropped on rough ground
  • Commercial use by rental companies

Tents

  • General wear and tear over extended periods of use
  • Flaws in the fabric caused by excessive wear
  • Water ingress through fabric as a result of UV degradation
  • Water ingress through seams caused by excessive abrasion of seams or seam sealant tape
  • Broken zips caused by forcing, jamming or improper use
  • Over tensioned/stretched seams coming apart
  • Buckles subjected to undue force or abrasion
  • Broken carry/roller bag if they are over loaded, used for carrying other items or used as a toy
  • Any tent pole breakages, these are treated as “fair wear and tear”
  • Collateral damage from a pole breakage
  • UV degradation
  • Condensation, usually caused by lack of ventilation
  • Commercial use by rental companies

Repair Service

 

Unfortunately we no longer offer a repair service, however replacement zips for both sleeping bags and jackets and also fabric patches can be purchased by contacting us, to enable the repair to be carried out by you or a third party.

Please note that the shade of colour of our fabric may vary over time so we cannot ensure an exact match to your jacket or sleeping bag.

Sleeping Bag Zips

Please note if you need your sleeping bag to zip to another sleeping bag or expander panel this may no longer be possible if our current supply of zips are different to the original zip that we replace.
